Roll Out to Roll Out to Roll Out!!!

No longer is Choice FM hosting a Sunday evening skating event for everyone to enjoy, so Kris Jay has got together with Renaissance Rooms and will be providing a replacement called ‘Roll Out’.

So, expect the same as before but a different kind of experience!

Every 1st Sunday of the Month will be Roll Out provided by the people who brought the bi-monthly skating experience to the Derby All-Nighter and the Boxing Day All-Nighter.

Starting TODAY for it’s initial Launch,  Sunday 1st of SEPTEMBER 2013.

End of August Update

It is the last Friday of the Month and everything in the Skate World is kicking off.

It’s that part of August everyone starts to dread. Parents are happy to send their children off back to school but may need to buy new clothing for children going back. Although there are events ongoing, the end of Summer Street Skating is coming to an end. It’s a sad time sor street skating as autumn looms, but with that said, there are a few more skating events we can attemd as well as the known or not so known weekly events which are continuing to supply great skating times for us to enjoy.

First and foremost, as well as RollBack, providing weekly Skating Events as well as Renaissance Rooms and Silverspoons, there are Special Events we need to Highlight and take note of.

On the First of September, Renaissance Rooms will be providing a Brand New Skating Event which will occur every 1st Sunday of the Month called ‘Roll Out’.

Secondly, RollBack Skating will have an Sunday Skate on the 15th September and the 28th.

This will carry us into October where we have The SK8 Revolution Weekender and the 1st Anniversary of #ComeSkateWithUs.

Along with the weekly events provided by Silverspoons on Tuesday, RollBack on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday and Renaissance Rooms on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and now every 1st Sunday, there is no real excuse in not being able to skate.

As there are more events and locations popping up as well as Street Skates, I will let you know ASAP of the other events and dates as to when these will be going on.

Roller Disco’s Family Jam

Vauxhall Renaissance Rooms is open from Thursday to Saturday with different prices dependant on the day, but still a venue open for all professionals and would-be skaters young and old.

TODAY is the Family Jam Skate for parents or minders who would like to bring kids along to join in on the skating fun!

With two rooms to listen to music and vibe to whilst you skate, unless you want to dance as well as skating. There are bars to buy drinks and a great vibe where even any dresscode is acceptable in the name of fun.
For those who are unsure and can not skate, there are Skating Instructors there to assist and help you get on your feet and get your balance right.

Not long now until ROLLERHEAT’s Summer Splash!

It’s felt like forever since there was a Rollerheat and now it is BACK and BIGGER THAN BEFORE!!!

Around 750 Skaters got together for the last Boxing Day Rollerheat Special and now it is back for a summer special to greet in the lovely warm sunny sunshine on the 26th May 2013.

The night will be hosted by the one and only (( KRIS’JAY )) with special guest by DJ Hotsteppa.

MUSIC: RnB & Bashment, House & Funky, Afro Beats & Slow Jams. Expect the fabulous Skater DJ , DJ Wonda Woman alonside Maxwell Jay & Mikey Mac.
On top of that, there will be 2 live P.A’s and 2 Speed Skating sessions for the Speed Freaks out there.
As this is a Bank Holiday Special, this will be the BEACH WEAR Edition. So for free to participate and join in on the fun.

ATTRACTIONS: As well as 3X fully licensed bars, there will be 2 rooms to enjoy and skate the night away in and 1 winner needed for the Jam Skating competition. So if you got what it takes, skate up to the plate. There are also a Seated Chill Out Garden / Special Party Booth’s/ Friendly Instructors and Dance Displays from Londons Top Skaters!!

DRESS CODE: Anything goes however, as this is BEACH WEAR!?! The idea is FUN FUN FUN!!! (Beach Ball included)
