Cancer of Unknown Primary

Next week Tuesday 18th march, we will be holding an event to raise awareness & money for Cancer of Unknown Primary (CUP) Foundation.

Some of you noticed I wasn’t at Spoons last week and if you saw me this week you may have noticed I wasn’t my usual self.
Unfortunately it’s because last week my dad passed away.

My dad fought a rare form of cancer called known as Cancer of Unknown Primary (CUP) for just over a year.
Because the cause of the cancer was untraceable, there was no way to deal with it directly.

Skating means a lot to me and I really regret the fact that my dad never got to see the beautiful skate community we have at spoons. In fact he never got to see me skate at all.

The more I learn about my dad’s type of cancer I find it hard to believe that in this day and age, there isn’t technology to at least find out where it is coming from!?

That’s why this Tuesday we’ll be doing a special skate night. Spreading Awareness and raising funds for CUP Foundation in my dads name.
