U18 & Roller Motion – November

In case you didn’t know, Roller Motion is on EVERY FIRST Sunday of the Month, brought to you buy Choice FM and at 3pm til 6pm, if your under 18, you can skate too!

For those who don’t know anything about Roller Motion. Roller Motion is a Choice FM event which occurs every first Sunday of the month. An event which used to be a weekly event has been revamped, compressed and bundled as a once a month affair which is now even bigger, badder and better than ever AND IS ON THIS TODAY!!!

Renaissance Rooms, the home of Roller Disco Skating and somewhere where you will always get good vibes, good music and a good atmosphere filled with non-skaters trying their ‘ting’ and trying to learn and get to grips with the whole, rolling on wheels thing and other ‘more professional skaters who are used to life on 8-wheels. One of the most favourite venues for factions such as, us, The Rollerz, with members of F.O.R (Family of Rollerz), members of S.S.E (Supreme Skaters Elite), 2S1S (2 Skater, 1 Style), High Rollaz, E-Favo & G.O.S (Games on Skates), Skanker Skaters and even the LDN Skaters, it is nothing but a great idea to pass by and get you skate on.

I would just like to say that, skating is a relaxer. It is something that helps you get fit, your mind off school/college and all that jazz and help you participate into a scene which is soo welcoming. It’s a stress reliever and also helps you to keep fit. Most skaters if not all are all welcoming and most, if not all are willing to teach you a move or two. On a side note, let’s keep the unity of skating and keep the love there. Leave the politics and any other non-skating related issues away from skating. If Skating happens to be the mutual between two people or a few, the let’s be civil. A lot of people forget that we have that mutual love for skating and don’t necessarily need to love one another, just the artform/sport that is skating.

The doors will open at 3pm. It is imperative to 1, arrive early and 2, bring photographic I.D. The night will finish at 6pm and the rest is more or less the same as usual.
