Hey everyone.
Not sure if you saw the previous post regarding Mama Leah’s Pancake week, the special deals and what Mama Leah’s will be doing on the 12th March 2011. All last week and for the entire week, Mama Leah’s have been doing special deals on Pancakes in aid of Pancake Day which also includes the Wednesday Waffles Deal. What does this have to do with Skating? I hear you ask! Well, Mama Leah’s teamed up with Supreme Skaters Elite, VNV Sounds, G.O.S & The Rollerz (F.O.R) to help raise money for charity on the 12th of March in Lewisham.
All different types of skaters came down from Roller Bladers, to Quad Skaters, Old School, New School, F.O.R, Jam Skaters & Speed Skaters.
The charity was CLIC Sargent Children with Cancer and with all the help and effort that was put into the day, the games, the jokes, the music, the laughs, the participation; Mama Leah’s managed to raise a whopping £965.67!!!!
With that said, The Rollerz would like to thank everyone who participated, all the skaters, everyone who was patient and willing to help & everyone who contributed to a good cause.
Once again, Mama Leah’s raised £965.67 in aid of CLIC Sargent Children with Cancer with the help of a Family of Rollerz.
